Scantide Observe Guide
What Browser-Visible Security Evidence Can — and Cannot — Tell You
A browser can reveal headers, cookies, scripts, forms, frames and network behavior. It cannot see every server-side control, database setting or internal security decision.

The browser has a valuable external viewpoint
It receives the page, response headers, cookies and resources that users actually experience. That makes it excellent for checking the client-facing result of many security decisions.
Some controls are invisible
Server patch level, internal segmentation, database permissions, backup state and many application controls cannot be reliably inferred from a browser tab.
Do not overclaim findings
A missing browser-facing control can be reported. An unseen server-side weakness should not be invented. Scantide's evidence-first approach deliberately separates observation from assumptions.
Observe is suited to live browser behavior, Online to public-domain posture, and Auditor to authorized internal discovery. Different viewpoints answer different questions.

Historical source · JufCorp: Security Reality Check: Why a Perfect Score Doesn't Mean You're SafeA perfect security score (100) does not mean your systems are fully protected. This automated scan detects common vulnerabilities but cannot identify all security risks. Results may contain false positives or miss certain vulnerabilities. Always verify findings manually and implement additional security measures.
Automated scanners can produce false positives or miss vulnerabilities due to network conditions, security controls, or scanner limitations. Manually verify critical findings before taking action. When in doubt, consult with cybersecurity professionals.
